When little Niamh and George think that they're dogs and roll onto their backs for tummy scratches.
The absolutely gorgeous set of boxes I received c/o Out There Interiors a couple of weeks ago. My front room has a lot of antique pieces with muted shabby chic bits & bats mixed in for good measure. These boxes fit in so well with the room, and the best thing about them is that I don't have to have them stacked if I don't want to. I may move the smaller of the boxes upstairs and fill it with my spare makeup; I think it'd look lovely on my dressing table. Thank you so much for sending these over, Out There Interiors! I love them!
Fresh salmon with coriander, ginger, honey and soy sauce.
My gallery wall. It's the first, big home improvement that I've carried out by myself and I feel as though I've accomplished something great! More DIY's are on their way. We've got three chairs to upcycle, as well as two sets of matching drawers, a television stand and a roman blind to make!
An exciting change in the pipeline, I don't want to jinx anything by mentioning exactly what it is but I'll definitely update on it when/if it comes to fruition! I'm crossing all of my fingers for this one.
Winning a pair of Leeds Festival tickets! We went on Wednesday and came home Sunday night. Dancing to Skrillex outside the NME tent was a highlight. The 1975, Deap Vally and The Family Rain were brilliant. To say that this was the first time in seven years that I wasn't going to go, I'm really happy that we managed to get over there in the end! It meant that I could buy my yearly alpaca wool finger puppet too. I have quite the collection now ;)
Having a home to go back to. You realise you take basic necessities for granted after you've been living in a muddy field and damp clothes for five days.
 Long country walks.
I'm looking for a few of my readers to take part in these happy lists, so if you've got a couple of things to share then please email them over and include a link to your blog! x
